Homework will always be announced and written on the whiteboard, Digital assignments will also be posted to Google Classroom under the Homework topic. It is always your responsibility to check the whiteboard.

Homework assignments must be completed BY THE START of the next class unless I tell you otherwise.

Homework and classwork are not generally graded for correctness, but if it is clear that you did not complete the assignment as directed, you will not receive full credit. For example:

• • Copied work

  • Not writing in full sentences as directed

  • Otherwise not following directions for the assignment 

Homework is worth 15% of your grade, which is enough to really help or hurt it.

Unless Excused, 

• • Homework submitted after class begins on the day it is due will immediately lose 30% (max score: 7/10 points).

  • Homework submitted over 24 hours (1 day) after it is due will lose another 10% (max score: 6/10 points).

  • Homework submitted over 48 hours (2 days) after it is due will receive a maximum grade of 50% (5/10 points).

Late assignments will not be accepted at all in the last two weeks of the marking period. Any outstanding assignments will remain scored as zero at that point.
