General Rules & Expectations

In order to maintain an orderly and respectful classroom environment, please adhere to the following expectations:

• Be respectful at all times

• Come to class on time

  • Please sit in your assigned seat immediately upon arrival to class

  • You will be marked tardy if you arrive after the bell rings

  • Please stay seated until dismissed. Do not line up at the door!

• Come to class prepared

  • Bring your charged Chromebook, your science notebook, a folder, and something to write with every day

• Use appropriate language at all times

• Abide by the school dress code.

• When you have a question or something to say during lessons or class discussions, please raise your hand and wait to be called on before speaking

• Minimize any unnecessary disruptions. Use the tissue box/pencil sharpener closest to where you sit.

• Always use your own words in assignments. Never copy directly from the internet/AI or from someone else in class. Copied assignments will not be accepted or graded. If two students have the same answers, both students are responsible, so don’t share your work!

• No hall passes will be given in the first 5 or the last 5 minutes of each class. 

  • • Blue passes are for 2nd floor. Yellow passes are for 1st floor.
